How to Reactivate a Fallen-off ETC?

Methods to reactivate a fallen-off ETC: 1. Insert and remove the ETC card twice consecutively until the electronic tag screen displays 'Bluetooth On'. If the tag shows 'Tag Invalid' when inserted/removed twice without being attached, it won't affect activation - simply press the button on top of the electronic tag to enable Bluetooth; 2. Turn on your phone's Bluetooth, open the app (download the corresponding mobile app based on your electronic tag's brand), and enter the device activation interface; 3. Click 'Device Connection', select your device model, and wait patiently for the successful connection prompt; 4. After successful connection, follow the prompts to complete verification by uploading a front-view photo of your vehicle. The activation will be complete after 3-5 days of review, after which you can use it normally.
Last time my ETC device fell off, reattaching it myself worked quite well. First, check that the device isn’t damaged. Then, clean the original installation area on the windshield with a damp cloth to remove dust and grease. Align it with the original rectangular area and press it back firmly for about ten seconds to ensure the switch on the back is tightly pressed and activated. After reattaching, drive to a nearby toll station to test if the barrier lifts—usually it resumes normal function immediately. If it doesn’t work, the adhesive might have failed; try reinforcing it with double-sided tape or visit an ETC service point for repairs—don’t delay to avoid issues with highway tolls. Park in shaded areas to prevent the adhesive from melting due to sun exposure, and periodically check for looseness by gently pushing the device to prevent this issue.
