How to Quickly Dry a Soaked Car Seat Cushion?

If the car seats have seat covers, remove them immediately because the covers are not breathable and can easily cause the wet seats to develop mold. For leather seats, simply wipe them clean. After the seats are soaked by rain, you can use cleaning products to wash them and then wipe them dry. You can turn on the car's heater to raise the temperature inside the cabin, which helps dry the wet car seats. Frequently open the car windows to maintain ventilation inside the cabin, using natural air drying to blow-dry the wet seats. If the seats are severely soaked, remove them and place them in a ventilated area or under sunlight to dry, which will speed up the drying process.
I've been driving for over 20 years and often encounter wet car seats. First, use a large dry towel to repeatedly press firmly to absorb the water—avoid rubbing back and forth. Then immediately open all windows for ventilation. If possible, remove the seat cushion and lay it in a shaded area to air dry. I prefer using an industrial fan to blow directly at the seat, which works better than a hairdryer, and place some bamboo charcoal bags to absorb moisture. If the weather is humid, remember to turn on the air conditioning in dehumidification mode to blow on the seats. Finally, check for any remaining water stains to prevent mold or leather cracking. It's practical to keep a few spare towels in the car trunk to prepare for unexpected situations.
