How to Properly Start a Honda Fit Automatic Transmission Car?

After the driver sits in the driver's seat, press the start button once to activate the ACC light, then press it again for the vehicle self-check. Depress the brake pedal and press the start button once more to ignite and start the engine. Release the foot brake, and you may choose to warm up the car in place; the duration can be adjusted based on environmental conditions. Depress the foot brake again, shift to D (Drive) gear, and release the handbrake. Gradually release the foot brake to start moving; after starting, promptly merge onto the road and drive at the designated speed.
I've been driving for over 20 years, and operating a Fit's automatic transmission is second nature to me. Don't rush to start the car; first adjust your seat and mirrors, and make sure the seatbelt clicks securely into place. Press the brake pedal firmly with your right foot, turn the key to ignite, and when all the dashboard lights come on, it means the car is ready. Don't shift gears immediately; wait about 10 seconds to let the oil lubricate the engine, especially in winter. Press the button on the side of the gear lever and shift from P to D, feeling the gear click into place. For an electronic parking brake, press the release button; for a manual one, push it all the way down. Gradually release the brake, and the car will start to creep forward. Gently press the accelerator to around 1500 RPM for a smooth start. Remember, never floor the accelerator, as it can cause the transmission to jerk. Always check your side mirrors before moving off, and be extra cautious in residential areas where kids might run around.
