How to play songs from USB in the 2021 Corolla?

Locate the center console armrest inside the car. Open the armrest to find the USB port inside. Take out the prepared USB flash drive. Insert the USB flash drive into the USB port. Make sure the USB flash drive is fully inserted, otherwise the songs will not play. Press the control button on the center console screen to turn on the audio power. Then press the AUX button on the center console audio. After that, you will see that the songs playing in the car are from the USB flash drive.
My 2012 Corolla and I have been using USB to play music for several years, and the process is quite straightforward. First, find an empty USB drive or phone, ensuring it contains songs in MP3 format; the USB drive needs to be formatted to FAT32, and the phone should be in file transfer mode. The car's USB port is located in the center console area or below the dashboard—plug in the device and start the vehicle. Once the infotainment screen lights up, tap the 'Media' or 'Music' icon and switch to the USB source option. If playback doesn’t start automatically, manually browse the playlist on the screen and tap play. The sound quality is stable, more power-efficient than Bluetooth, and ensures safe driving. If the device isn’t recognized, check if the file format is correct or restart the car’s system. You may also need to activate the USB playback function in the system settings. Remember to periodically check that the USB port is clean and dust-free.
