How to Play Music from a USB Drive in an Audi A3?

There is an external socket inside the glove box (armrest box) of the passenger seat; there is also an interface below the central MMI display. Simply insert the USB drive into the USB port, then select the USB drive on the central control screen to start playing the songs from the USB drive.
I've been driving an Audi A3 for a while now, and using a USB drive to listen to music is super convenient. Here's how I do it: First, format a USB drive to FAT32 and save your favorite songs in MP3 or WMA format. Avoid creating too many messy folders. The USB port is usually located in the center armrest or under the front dashboard, with most post-2018 A3 models having it in the armrest. Plug in the USB drive, wait for the system to recognize it automatically, then press the Media button on the multimedia screen and select External Device or USB as the audio source. If it doesn't respond, check the USB format or try unplugging and reinserting it. Remember not to operate the screen while driving—safety first. Regularly clean up the USB drive or update your playlist to avoid lagging issues.
