How to Park in an Angled Parking Space?

First, position your car on the right side of the parking space, then adjust the vehicle. When you see the left rearview mirror aligned with the left edge line of the parking space, turn the steering wheel fully to the right and continue moving forward. When the longitudinal axis of the car forms an appropriate angle with the parking space, stop the car, straighten the wheels, and slowly reverse. Reverse slowly while observing the left and right rearview mirrors to ensure the car is aligned with the parking space, then back into the space.
After driving for so many years, I find angled parking spaces much easier to park in than perpendicular ones. When you see a parking spot, first turn on the left turn signal to alert the car behind. Align the front of your car with the left edge line of the adjacent empty space, straighten the car body, and slowly move forward. When you see the front of the neighboring car in the rearview mirror, turn the steering wheel all the way to the right and start reversing. At this point, mainly focus on the right rearview mirror to avoid scraping the neighboring car. Once the car body is straightened, return the steering wheel to the center and continue reversing. Stop when you feel the rear of the car is about to touch the parking block. Older residential areas often use this type of parking space, and you can definitely get in after two or three adjustments—it's much simpler than parallel parking. The key is to control the speed and avoid turning the steering wheel too abruptly.
