How to Park for Beginners?

Beginners should choose to reverse into a parking space. When there is only one parking space available, drive past the current space. Stop when your rear bumper aligns with the rear bumper of the car in front, maintaining a 1-meter distance. Then turn the steering wheel fully to the right and slowly reverse at a 45-degree angle. When your front bumper aligns in a straight line with the rear bumper of the car in front, turn the steering wheel fully in the opposite direction and continue reversing slowly to park the car properly.
When I was learning to drive in my younger days, the most frustrating part was parking. But experience taught me to start practicing parallel parking in an empty space first. Find a safe spot, like an unused parking space at the back of the neighborhood, reduce your speed to nearly walking pace, and first observe the size of the parking space and the surrounding environment. Remember to turn on your indicator to alert the cars behind you, slowly approach, and when your car is parallel to the parking space, start turning the steering wheel, controlling the angle without being too hasty. Try a few times when practicing, don’t be afraid of failure—if you fail, just readjust your position. After each successful park, check if your car is centered and if the distance from the front and back is appropriate. Practice makes perfect, and you’ll get the hang of it in a week or two. The most important thing about parking is to stay calm and not get nervous. Always check around your car after parking to avoid scratching your neighbor’s car.
