How to Park and Retrieve Cars in a Multi-level Parking Garage?
2 Answers
In a multi-level parking garage, the ground floor allows for automatic vehicle storage and retrieval, functioning similarly to a conventional ground parking lot. The garage automatically recognizes card swipe information. After the driver or parking attendant swipes the card, the garage operates by lifting and laterally moving the vehicle platform. The driver can then enter the garage and drive the car away directly.
The first time I used a multi-level parking lot was quite confusing, but fortunately, there was an administrator on-site to guide me. After slowly driving the car into the entrance sensor area, the barrier would automatically lift, and the ground indicator light would turn green to guide me forward. Once parked on the designated platform, I had to immediately turn off the engine, pull the handbrake, and fold the side mirrors, and remember to close the windows before getting out. When swiping the card on the operation panel to confirm, I could see the platform slowly rising with the car. To retrieve the car, I used the same card to swipe on the terminal, and within five minutes, the system lowered the car back to the ground. Remember, the wheels must be within the yellow frame when parking, and roof racks must be removed in advance, otherwise the height limit bar will sound an alarm.
