How to Park a Mercedes-Benz?

Depress the foot brake to stop the vehicle, then shift the gear from D to N, engage the parking brake, release the foot brake, and finally turn off the engine. Wait for a moment, then press the foot brake again, shift the gear from N to P, release the foot brake, turn off the power and remove the key.
As a Mercedes-Benz owner, I find parking quite effortless every day, so I'd like to share my routine method. When parking, I first slowly drive next to the spot to ensure the surrounding environment is safe with no obstacles. Firmly pressing the brake pedal to bring the car to a complete stop is fundamental. Then I quickly shift to the P position—Mercedes automatically activates the electronic parking brake, but I prefer to manually press the electronic brake button on the center console again to confirm it's engaged, preventing the car from rolling. Mercedes' automatic parking assist is incredibly useful, especially in crowded malls—I press the button on the steering wheel to select the parking mode, release control, and it reverses in by itself, with the radar warning of rear obstacles to avoid scratches. Manual parking isn’t troublesome either: after stopping, I signal, shift into reverse, gently control the throttle while steering, and adjust the position using the mirrors. Every time after parking, I check if the lights are off and lock the doors. Long-term maintenance of the brake system ensures responsiveness, and cleaning the sensors prevents false alarms. These habits make parking safe, time-efficient, and prolong the car's lifespan.
