How to Overtake in the Leftmost Lane?

Drive behind the vehicle in front. The rule for overtaking is that it must be performed from the left lane. You cannot always drive in the left lane because it is the overtaking lane and should not be used continuously. You should only move into it when overtaking.
I always think overtaking in the leftmost lane requires extra caution, since it's the fast lane and everyone's speed is quite high. If I encounter a slow-moving car ahead, the first thing is to check the rearview mirror to ensure no vehicle is approaching too closely from behind, then signal left and check the blind spot to make sure no car is squeezing in recklessly. Just accelerate smoothly to overtake, and promptly return to the right lane after passing—don’t hog the lane. On highways, especially in poor visibility like rain or fog, I’d rather wait than take risks. Safety first—following the rules minimizes accidents. Don’t imitate those who change lanes recklessly; it’s a recipe for trouble.
