How to Operate the Tiggo 8 with Tiptronic Transmission?

When starting, place the gear in P or N position, then press the brake to start the car. When the vehicle starts, press the brake, shift into D gear, then slowly release the brake. After the vehicle moves a few meters, gradually press the accelerator. If the road is smooth, you can keep it in D gear. For vehicles with tiptronic transmission, it's best to place the gear in P position before turning off the engine and removing the key to protect the transmission. In traffic jam conditions, switch to manual mode in time. If the speed is around 20 km/h, you can shift to 2nd gear; for speeds above 30 km/h, shift to 3rd gear.
The first time I drove the Tiggo 8 with its automatic transmission, I was a bit confused, but I found it quite simple once I got the hang of it. Before starting the vehicle, press the brake pedal and make sure the gear lever is in the P position, then ignite. When driving, just push the lever to D gear to move forward automatically, without worrying about the chassis at all; for normal driving in the city or on the highway, leave it in D gear, and the transmission will handle all the shifting by itself. If you want to try something new, like adding some fun during acceleration or climbing, you can push the lever to manual mode and use the + and - buttons or steering wheel paddles to manually control the gears. The screen will display the current gear—just make sure it's not too high or too low. Usually, automatic mode is more carefree, but occasionally trying manual mode can be fun; just keep the operation smooth and avoid abrupt gear changes. With more practice, you'll easily master all the functions. Beginners are advised to start with automatic mode to get familiar with the vehicle's rhythm first.
