How to Operate the Nissan Sylphy Automatic Transmission?

Ensure the gear is in the P position, press the brake pedal, shift the gear to D position, release the brake pedal, and the car will start moving slowly. If you want to accelerate quickly, simply step on the accelerator pedal.
When I first learned to drive, I was a bit flustered operating the Nissan Sylphy automatic transmission, but now that I'm used to it, I find it super easy. Before getting in the car, check that the key is ready. Once seated securely, press the brake pedal—this is the safety foundation. Then insert the key or press the one-touch start button, and the engine will start. Next, look at the gear lever position: P (Park) is for parking, D (Drive) lets you move forward; when reversing, press the brake and shift to R (Reverse), don't rush to step on the accelerator. While driving, you don't need to worry about shifting gears at all—the computer handles it automatically. At a red light, shift to N (Neutral) to rest your foot and save the brake pads. When parking is over, always shift back to P (Park), engage the handbrake, and then turn off the engine before leaving. Be careful not to coast downhill in neutral—it can wear out the transmission. The Sylphy's CVT design is very smooth, with no jerking at startup, making it great for beginners commuting in the city. Regular maintenance of the transmission fluid can help the car last longer.
