First press the A/C switch button, then activate the front windshield defogging button, set the temperature to the lowest level, and adjust the airflow to eliminate fogging. When the car is just started, do not turn on the air conditioner immediately. After the water temperature rises, begin heating, set the airflow to maximum, and turn on the defogging button to make the fog disappear.
As a long-term owner of the Changan CS75, operating the defogging function is actually quite straightforward. After getting in the car, start the engine first so the system can function. Then locate the defogging button on the dashboard—the icon usually resembles a combination of a small fan and the front windshield. Press it gently, and the indicator light will turn on, signaling activation. At this point, the air conditioning will automatically turn on the fan at high speed to help quickly remove moisture and fog, requiring no manual adjustment. If the fog hasn’t cleared, try setting the AC temperature around 22-24°C for a balanced cooling/heating effect. Turning on the external circulation mode is also important, as it draws in dry outside air to clear interior fog faster. In humid winter weather, I usually wait half a minute before driving off—safety first. Regularly cleaning the inner side of the windshield to remove grease buildup can reduce fog formation, ensuring smoother driving.
