How to Open the Trunk from Inside the Regal?

Long press the button on the key other than "Lock" or "Unlock" to open the trunk from inside the car. There is a trunk release button on the door trim panel of the driver's side in the Buick Regal. Press and hold it for more than 3 seconds to open the trunk. Pull the emergency release handle firmly to open the trunk.
I've been driving a Buick Regal for several years and often encounter situations where I need to open the trunk from the inside. Generally, in the Regal, near the trunk lid in the rear seat area, there's a small plastic cover or pull ring—just gently pry or pull it to open. For newer models, there might be a button on the rear seat that needs to be pressed. I remember once when I accidentally locked a friend in the trunk as a joke, and that's how he got out—pretty handy. But don't abuse it; it's designed for safety, like self-rescue after a crash or if a child gets trapped. I recommend checking the owner's manual to confirm the exact location. For older cars, dust can easily get stuck, so occasional lubrication ensures smooth operation.
