How to open the hood of the Venucia R50?

The hood of the Venucia R50 can be opened using the fuel tank cover switch located below the left side of the steering wheel. Simply pull it upwards to open the hood. The secondary lock switch is located on the right side of the logo; once released, the hood can be fully opened. The Venucia R50 has body dimensions of 4820mm in length, 1695mm in width, and 1535mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2600mm. Compared to other models in the same class from domestic brands, although this car does not have much advantage in terms of body size, it benefits from Dongfeng Nissan's product strengths, delivering excellent performance in space utilization and overall spatial performance.
I'm quite familiar with opening the hood, and the operation of the Venucia R50 is pretty standard. When sitting in the driver's seat, first reach your left foot toward the front left side—there's a plastic handle under the instrument panel with an engine icon on it. Grab it and pull backward. At this point, the hood will pop open with a 'click,' leaving a small gap. Get out of the car, walk to the front center, and use your finger to reach into the gap and locate the metal latch. Push it to the right while lifting the hood upward with your other hand. Be careful not to yank it open with brute force, as this could damage the hinges. The support rod is located near the left side of the radiator frame—just hook the U-shaped metal bar into the hood's groove to secure it. Given the recent hot weather, I recommend wearing gloves to avoid burns. Newcomers will get the hang of it after a few tries.
