How to Open the Hood of Honda Haoying?

Pull the hood release handle, and the hood will slightly pop up. Reach into the central front part of the hood, locate the auxiliary hood latch handle, lift the tab upward, and you can open the hood.
I just helped my neighbor with his Honda Haoying the other day, and opening the hood is actually quite simple. First, sit in the driver's seat, lean to the left, and locate the recessed handle on the plastic panel near your left foot. Pull it firmly toward you until you hear a click. Second, step out and go to the front of the car. Slide your fingers into the hood gap to find a small metal latch. Use your index finger to push it all the way to the left and hold it there, then immediately lift the hood with your other hand. Finally, there's a thoughtful design—the hood strut is on the left side. Just gently pull the pin to raise it, and it locks securely into the hood's groove. Last time, I found that the hood might freeze in winter frost, so spraying some WD-40 beforehand makes it much smoother. Don’t forget to apply some grease to the latch regularly for maintenance.
