How to Open the Hood of a Verano?

To open the hood of a Verano, follow these steps: Locate the release lever under the dashboard on the driver's side, to the left of the steering wheel. After pulling this lever, go to the front of the vehicle where you'll find a secondary latch under the hood. This latch resembles a small handle - gently pull it until you hear a click. Then, proceed to the hood and locate the protruding release mechanism to fully open the hood. Additional tip: To check if the hood is already partially open, look for a visible gap. If present, reach into the central front area of the engine compartment to find the auxiliary hood latch. Lift the tab upward while simultaneously raising the hood.
