The hood release handle of the Haval Big Dog is located below the steering wheel, at the lower left side of the dashboard. After pulling it, there is a safety latch under the front hood; move it to the right with your hand. Next, locate the hood lifting rod near the front emblem. Gently feel for a rod from bottom to top with your hand and lift it upwards.
Opening the Haval Dargo's hood is actually quite simple. I've been driving this car for a while now and have gotten used to the procedure during regular maintenance. First, sit in the driver's seat and look down to find a small lever near the left pedal, usually marked with a hood icon.
