How to Open the Hood of a Ford Car?

Ford car hood opening method: The Ford front hood is equipped with an anti-theft feature, and the opening method is quite unique. You need to press the front emblem backward and then turn it to the left. After seeing the keyhole, use the key to turn left once and right twice, then lift the hood upward to open it. Ford Motor Company's models include the Thunderbird, Mustang, F-Series trucks, T-Series sedans, etc. Taking the Thunderbird as an example, its body dimensions are 4732mm in length, 1829mm in width, and 1323mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2723mm. It is equipped with a V8 naturally aspirated engine, with a maximum power of 188kw and a maximum torque of 361nm.
When I first bought my Ford, I also struggled with how to open the hood. Later, I found it quite simple. First, sit in the driver's seat, and with your left hand, feel for a lever with an engine icon below the left side of the steering wheel or above the foot pedals. Pull it firmly toward you, and you'll hear a 'click' as the hood pops open. Then, get out of the car and go to the front. There will be a gap in the middle of the hood. Reach in and feel for a movable latch. Use your index finger to slide it sideways, and the entire hood will loosen. Finally, lift the hood with both hands simultaneously, locate the support pin hole, and securely insert the metal support rod. The whole process takes just a minute. Tested by a female driver—it can even be done one-handed. The key is not to do it when the engine is hot.
