How to Open the GTR Door?

GTR door opening method: Press the front end of the door handle with your thumb, and the tail of the door handle will lift up. Simply pull the tail to open the door. The GTR is a sports car under Nissan, equipped with a 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine coded VR38DETT, delivering 555 horsepower and a maximum torque of 632 Nm. In terms of suspension, the GTR uses a double-wishbone independent suspension at the front and a multi-link independent suspension at the rear. The multi-link suspension enhances the wheel's ground contact performance, thereby improving traction, which in turn enhances the car's handling.
Last time I drove the GTR, I found it quite easy to open the door from the outside: just hold the metal handle of the door and gently pull outward, and the door opens; if the car is locked, press the unlock button on the remote key or pull the door handle twice for automatic unlocking. From the inside, there's a small horizontal plastic lever on the seat—just reach out and pull it to pop the door open. Note that in winter, the door handle can freeze easily, so avoid pulling it hard; use warm water to thaw it instead. The GTR features a frameless door design, so be gentle when opening to avoid damaging the window seals. For safety, always ensure no people or vehicles are passing by before opening the door, and operate it only after parking. A click sound after unlocking indicates success. If the key battery dies, visit a 4S store for a replacement. Remember to have the technician check the door lock mechanism for smooth operation during regular maintenance—don’t repeat my colleague’s mistake of carelessly leaving the door unlocked, which once led to theft and significant losses! Overall, opening the GTR’s door is similar to most cars—you’ll get used to it.
