How to open the fuel tank of the Sylphy?

Sylphy's fuel tank opening method: The fuel tank cover release button is located inside the cockpit, below the steering wheel. There are two buttons, one of which is the fuel tank cover release button, positioned on the far left. The Sylphy is a mid-size family sedan, a series introduced by Dongfeng Nissan Passenger Vehicle Company. In terms of body dimensions, the Sylphy measures 4641mm in length, 1815mm in width, and 1450mm in height. Beyond significant enhancements to the body structure, the Sylphy also features Nissan's exclusive IDM Intelligent Driving Dynamics system. In terms of configuration, the Sylphy is equipped with an intelligent active safety system and three major driving assistance technologies.
The fuel tank cap opening method of the Sylphy is actually quite intuitive. Usually, after unlocking the vehicle, you can walk to the fuel tank cap location (typically on the right rear fender) and press the center of the cap directly, and it will pop open. If there's no response, it might be because the car isn't fully unlocked—make sure the key is nearby or all doors are open. Remember to turn off the engine before refueling to prevent safety hazards. For older Sylphy models, there might be a small lever under the driver's seat that you can pull to open the cap, while newer models mostly simplify it to a press-to-open mechanism. During regular maintenance, it's recommended to occasionally clean the edges of the cap to prevent dust from jamming it. If pressing doesn't work, check the fuse or battery issues, or visit a service center—don't force it open to avoid damaging the sealing ring. This design is meant to make refueling more convenient and hassle-free.
