The fuel tank cap lock of the Lavida Tour is connected to the central locking system of the doors. Unlocking the doors simultaneously unlocks the trunk and the fuel tank cap. After unlocking, press the fuel tank cap with your hand and it will pop open. The fuel tank cap refers to the box on the car used for storing gasoline. It is square in shape, made of stainless steel, and has excellent sealing performance.

I've been driving my Lavida for several years, and opening the fuel tank cap is actually quite simple. First, you need to unlock the vehicle—use the key or the button to release the door locks, which will simultaneously unlock the fuel tank cap. Then, walk to the side of the car, press gently on the left side of the fuel tank cap (toward the rear of the vehicle), and you'll hear a click as it pops open. It might feel a bit stiff the first time, but applying some fuel filler lubricant will help. If pressing doesn't work, check if the doors are truly unlocked, or look for a dedicated fuel tank release lever near the lower left of the driver's seat—give it a pull if you find one. Don't overlook this cap during regular maintenance; make sure it seals properly when closing to keep dust out. On rainy days, it might get stuck more easily—press a few more times or apply some lubricant, but avoid forcing it open to prevent damage. In short, get into the habit of unlocking before operating for smooth and damage-free use.

Why does the car shake slightly when the air conditioning is turned on?

The reasons for slight shaking when the car's air conditioning is turned on: 1. Excessive compressor pressure: If the idle speed shakes immediately after turning on the air conditioning, it is likely due to high and low pressure issues. Excessive pressure increases the engine load, affecting the car's stability; 2. The throttle needs cleaning; 3. Engine carbon buildup or aging: When the car experiences idle speed shaking, the issue generally lies with the engine. If the engine is not cleaned for a long time or shows signs of aging, it will affect the engine's normal operation; 4. Air conditioning issues: Check if the air conditioning radiator is unobstructed, as this can also cause idle speed shaking when the air conditioning is turned on.

Do rear passengers in sedans need to fasten seat belts on highways?

Rear passengers in sedans need to fasten seat belts on highways. According to China's Road Traffic Safety Law, drivers and passengers must use seat belts as required when the vehicle is in motion. During vehicle operation, both drivers and passengers not wearing seat belts are considered illegal acts. Sitting in the rear seat without a seat belt not only seriously threatens the safety of front-seat occupants but also poses safety risks to the passengers themselves. This is because during vehicle deceleration, passengers inside the car are effectively accelerating relative to the vehicle. In such scenarios, the acceleration force when rear passengers impact the windshield is greater than that for front passengers, making rear passengers more likely to sustain severe injuries.

What is the Principle of Four-Wheel Drive Smart Car Turning in Place?

Smart car four-wheel drive in-place turning principle is a method of intelligent system navigation control through geomagnetism. It obtains the driving state of the intelligent system via geomagnetic sensors and performs error correction on the geomagnetic navigation angle. Four-wheel drive system classification: Four-wheel drive systems are mainly divided into three categories: part-time four-wheel drive, on-demand four-wheel drive, and full-time four-wheel drive. Advantages of part-time four-wheel drive: The advantages of part-time four-wheel drive are simple structure, high stability, and durability; Disadvantages of part-time four-wheel drive: The disadvantage is that it requires manual operation by the driver, sometimes even needing to stop the vehicle to operate. Not only is it cumbersome, but it also cannot react quickly when encountering poor road conditions, potentially missing the best opportunity to escape. Therefore, it is necessary to switch to four-wheel drive mode in advance when entering challenging road conditions. On-demand four-wheel drive switching: On-demand four-wheel drive only switches to four-wheel drive mode when appropriate. In this driving mode, power is usually transmitted to one drive axle. When the wheels slip, the central differential locks, and a portion of the power is then distributed to another drive axle. Full-time four-wheel drive function: This refers to the car's engine output torque being distributed to the front and rear wheels in a certain proportion during driving, allowing all four wheels to receive driving force. It offers excellent off-road capability and handling.
