How to Open the Engine Hood of the TACQUA?

Locate the engine hood release lever inside the cabin, then pull the hood release handle to slightly pop up the engine hood. Reach into the center front of the engine hood, lift and hold the release lever upwards while raising the engine hood. After opening the engine hood, remove the hood support rod. Insert one end of the support rod into the designated slot to prop up the engine hood. If the hood is equipped with hydraulic supports, manual propping is not required.
Last time I went camping with the Tacqua, I had to check the engine oil, and opening the hood was quite convenient. First, I parked the car on level ground and turned off the engine, then got out of the driver's seat to locate the small lever near the left foot area. I gripped it firmly and pulled hard, hearing a click to confirm it was unlocked. Next, I walked to the front of the car, where there's a round button under the hood. After finding the right spot, I pressed it, and the hood popped up slightly. Carefully lifting the hood, I found the metal support rod inside, secured it into the slot to keep it from slipping. The whole process took less than two minutes, but I'd recommend beginners to wear gloves to avoid oil stains, especially when the car is dirty outdoors. I often remind my friends to check the oil level and coolant by opening the hood before long trips—it helps spot minor leaks and address them promptly. The Tacqua's design is quite user-friendly, without any annoying hidden latches. Just find the button—it's right below the emblem—and after a few tries, you'll get the hang of it. Remember, if the lever doesn't budge, don't force it; the car might not be turned off or the mechanism could be stuck. Check again or seek professional help. Making this a regular habit extends the car's lifespan and ensures smoother drives.
