How to open the engine hood of Hongqi HS5?

The engine hood switch is located at the lower left corner of the steering wheel. Simply lift the button upwards, and the engine hood will pop open. Push the engine hood latch switch to the right, then lift the engine hood to inspect the engine compartment and other components. Remove the engine hood support rod from its fixed bracket, and finally hook the support rod into the groove on the engine hood.
I'm used to driving various cars, and opening the hood of the Hongqi HS5 is quite straightforward. First, sit in the driver's seat and locate the small pull handle beneath the interior panel near your left foot—usually a black plastic lever. Give it a tug, and you'll hear a slight click as the front of the hood pops up slightly. Then, quickly step out of the car and move to the front.
