How to Open the Door with a Bora Spare Key?

First, locate a small rectangular hole at the end of the car door handle. Pull the handle outward with your left hand and insert the spare key into the rectangular hole to pry open the lock cover. Then, pry the lock cover toward your direction. While keeping the left hand's action unchanged, use the right hand to pull off the lock cover. After removing the lock cover, the keyhole will be clearly visible. Use the spare key to unlock the car door.
I've been driving my Bora for many years and have used the spare key to open the door several times. The operation is quite simple: locate the small keyhole under the driver's door handle, insert the spare key, gently turn it clockwise, and the door will open. Remember not to use excessive force, as it can easily bend the key. Once inside the car, the spare key can also start the engine—just insert it into the ignition hole near the dashboard and turn it. If the keyhole is rusty, don't panic; a little WD-40 lubricant will do the trick. I usually keep the spare key in my wallet—it's a lifesaver if the main key runs out of battery. The Bora's spare key design is reliable, but the key teeth wear out quickly and can get stuck, so check it every six months to avoid trouble in an emergency.
