Prepare a new battery and a Phillips screwdriver. Remove the screw on the Iron General key, then use your hands or a tool to take off the upper cover of the key. You will see a waterproof membrane inside. Continue by removing the chip. Take out the old battery and replace it with the new one. Note that the battery should be placed with the positive side up and the negative side down. Stack the three batteries uniformly in the same direction before placing them into the battery slot. Reinstall the chip in its original position, ensuring it is aligned correctly and securely fitted on all sides. Improper placement may cause button malfunctions or difficulty in reassembly. Snap the outer cover back into place, then reinsert and tighten the original screw (there is only one screw). The battery replacement is now complete.

I just replaced the battery in my 10th-gen Accord key fob the other day. First, pull out the small metal key by pressing the silver button on the side of the fob. Then use your fingernail or a thin plastic tool to pry open the casing along the center seam. Be careful - there are four small clips inside the housing, don't force them or they might break. Once opened, you'll see the green circuit board and the coin battery (remember it's CR2032). When reassembling, align the housing properly and press gently until you hear a click. Handle everything gently as the plastic casing is quite brittle and can crack if forced too hard.

As a hands-on enthusiast, I found that disassembling the Accord key requires some finesse. The key is to locate the separation point: after pressing the release button on the back of the key to remove the mechanical key, insert a flathead screwdriver into the groove on the side of the remote. Slowly twist the screwdriver to widen the gap, at which point the upper and lower covers will separate. Be careful not to scratch the casing, as the plastic clips are particularly prone to breaking. Once opened, the battery is located on the left side of the circuit board and can be pried out with a toothpick for replacement. When reassembling, make sure the rubber buttons on the circuit board align with the key positions on the casing, otherwise the remote may malfunction.

The 10th-gen Accord key has a fairly simple construction. First, remove the spare mechanical key. Then, start from the bottom of the remote, where there's a hidden seam. It's recommended to use a soft tool like a guitar pick to avoid scratches. When separating the upper and lower shells, keep your hands steady as the internal spring might pop out. Pay special attention to the polarity of the button battery - installing it backwards could fry the circuit. The shell's snap design has three stress points; when aligning, snap the middle first before pressing the sides. The whole process takes about ten minutes, saving you 200 yuan compared to going to the 4S shop.
