Electric garage doors can still be opened even without power. There is a lock cylinder on the outside of the electric garage door; pull it out and give it a tug to open the door manually. For roller doors, a common solution is a tubular motor with a hand crank. Simply turn the crank slowly to raise the door bit by bit.

How to Handle Overdue Inspection for Exempt Vehicles?

If an exempt vehicle fails to apply for the inspection mark on time, the owner should promptly submit a re-inspection application to the traffic police department. Address any overdue inspection violations, pay all fines, and apply for the inspection compliance mark. Otherwise, the longer the delay, the harsher the penalties. Once it is discovered that the annual inspection date on the vehicle registration certificate has expired, the best course of action is to immediately proceed with the overdue inspection. To apply for the inspection compliance mark, you will need to bring the vehicle registration certificate, original ID card, and a copy of the compulsory traffic insurance policy. Additionally, ensure that all vehicle violations have been resolved.

What to Do When a Car is Slipping and Can't Get Out of a Ditch?

Place some bricks or wood in front of or behind the drive wheels of the vehicle to increase the friction of the wheels. You can call for road rescue services by dialing the rescue hotline and use a rescue vehicle to free the stuck car. If equipped with a winch, you can use the winch to pull the vehicle out of the predicament. Avoid continuously accelerating abruptly or applying sudden throttle, as this will not help the vehicle escape and may only worsen the situation, making rescue efforts more difficult and inconvenient.

How to Drain the Washer Fluid and Replace It with Antifreeze?

Find the washer fluid spray switch, press and hold the switch to spray out the summer washer fluid until the spray nozzle stops spraying. After the washer fluid is completely sprayed out, open the car's front hood. Once opened, locate the washer fluid reservoir, which has a blue cap. Open the washer fluid reservoir cap and replace it with antifreeze. If the washer fluid reservoir is half full when replacing, adding a bottle of antifreeze washer fluid will reduce the antifreeze effect of the washer fluid.

What does Michelin ST mean?

Michelin ST on Michelin tires stands for Silent Tuning of Michelin tires. Additional information: 1. Tire noise is often a source of irritation for drivers, and Michelin tires have a relative advantage in this aspect. Michelin places great emphasis on tire noise testing, where the original sounds of the vehicle must be taken into account, and multiple calculations are performed under comprehensive data conditions to determine the noise level of Michelin tires. 2. The tread pattern affects tire noise, with the air gaps between the tread patterns of Michelin tires being a major source of noise. Michelin tires without tread patterns show almost no noise in test vehicles. However, for daily driving, tread patterns with drainage functions are necessary to ensure good traction.

Why Does the Car Exhaust Pipe Make a Loud Rumbling Noise?

Here are the reasons for abnormal noises from the car exhaust pipe: 1. Exhaust pipe leakage: When there is a leak in the intake or exhaust pipe, the vehicle will produce a loud roaring sound as the exhaust rate increases upon acceleration. 2. Throttle valve clogging: During acceleration, the engine load increases, requiring the throttle valve to open wider and increase fuel supply. If the throttle valve does not open to the optimal position due to clogging, it will result in poor air-fuel mixture ratio in the engine, causing noise during acceleration. Additional information: Apart from roaring sounds, the engine may also produce a humming noise during acceleration. Possible causes for this sound include: 1. Transmission issues. The humming noise during acceleration may not always come from the engine; it could also be due to worn transmission bearings or insufficient lubrication, leading to friction. 2. Engine problems. If the humming noise is indeed from the engine, check if the RPM is very high. If the RPM increases significantly while the vehicle speed rises slowly during acceleration, this usually indicates clutch slippage, requiring replacement of the clutch assembly.
