Method to manually reset the maintenance light on a Lynk & Co 03: Navigate to the display interface showing the remaining maintenance mileage, then press and hold the button on the end of the wiper stalk until the remaining mileage changes to 5000. At this point, the 5000 will keep flashing—continue holding the button until it stops flashing. The Lynk & Co 03 is the first sedan product under the Lynk & Co brand. The vehicle measures 4639 mm in length, 1840 mm in width, and 1460 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2730 mm. In terms of exterior design, the Lynk & Co 03 features a wind-cutting design that blends the brand's signature urban contrast aesthetics with aerodynamic elements. It largely retains the Lynk & Co family design language, including split-type headlights, a horizontal front grille, and lower trim accents.

I've been driving my Lynk & Co 03 for almost three years and have reset the maintenance light several times myself. The method is actually quite simple: First, make sure the car is completely turned off, then press and hold the TRIP button on the right side of the steering wheel without releasing it. At this point, don't press the brake pedal, and press the start button twice to power up the instrument panel. Next, you'll see a countdown appear on the instrument panel, lasting about ten seconds. Wait for the countdown to finish before releasing the TRIP button, and the maintenance light will go off. The key is to hold the button throughout the process without releasing it prematurely—my first two attempts failed because I let go too early. If the countdown doesn't appear, check if the doors are properly closed or repeat the procedure. If you don't reset the light after maintenance, it will remind you every time you start the car. While it doesn't affect driving, it's quite annoying, so I recommend having the mechanic reset it right after maintenance to save yourself the hassle.

Do You Need to Press the Brake When Shifting Gears in an Automatic Transmission While Driving?

When shifting gears in an automatic transmission while driving, you do not need to press the brake. Since the vehicle is in motion, it means the gear is already in D (Drive) mode. At this point, shifting gears typically involves switching to S (Sport) or M (Manual) mode. It is not permissible to shift to N (Neutral), P (Park), or R (Reverse) while the vehicle is moving. The automatic transmission only requires pressing the brake when engaging the P (Park) mode; for other gears, normal manual control is sufficient. An automatic transmission generally refers to a car's automatic gear-shifting mechanism, where the transmission control system automatically selects the appropriate gear based on engine speed and load, replacing the driver's subjective judgment and manual shifting operations. Automatic transmission cars usually have six gear positions, arranged from top to bottom as: P, R, N, D, S, L.

What is the difference between DC charging piles and AC charging piles?

DC charging piles and AC charging piles differ in the following aspects: 1. Charging time: DC charging piles take 1.5 to 3 hours for a full charge, while AC charging piles require 8 to 10 hours. 2. On-board charger: DC charging piles can charge directly, whereas AC charging piles need to utilize the vehicle's on-board charger for charging. DC charging piles, commonly known as "fast chargers", are fixed installations outside electric vehicles, connected to the AC grid, and provide DC power to non-vehicle electric vehicle power batteries. AC charging piles, commonly referred to as "slow chargers", are also fixed installations outside electric vehicles, connected to the AC grid, but they provide AC power to the vehicle's on-board charger (i.e., the charger fixed on the electric vehicle).
