How to Manually Reset the Maintenance Light on a Geely?

Press the end of the turn signal lever to activate the instrument panel buttons. Use the volume knob to scroll up and down to select the trip mileage section, then enter the submenu. Locate the maintenance mileage option, press MODE to enter, use the volume key to move to the reset option, and press MODE to confirm the reset.
I was driving a Geely Emgrand the other day, and the maintenance light came on but didn't go away, which was quite annoying. Actually, manually resetting it isn't too difficult. The general steps are as follows: First, make sure the car is parked and turned off; don't start the engine, just turn the ignition to the ACC position. Then, look at the dashboard for a button like the Trip or reset button, and hold it down. After about 15-30 seconds, the maintenance light will flash a few times and go off; then you can release the button. However, this may vary depending on the car model. For example, my car is an older model, and the button is on the right, while newer models might have it on the left. It's best to check the user manual before operating to avoid getting the sequence wrong. If you don't reset it, the light will keep reminding you about maintenance, which can affect your driving experience and might indicate that maintenance hasn't been done. If you really can't manage it, I suggest going to a 4S shop and letting them check it with a computer. Remember to reset it only after maintenance to avoid overlooking any repairs.
