How to Maintain and Break in a New Car?

Proper cold engine warm-up helps form an "oil film" between engine components, thereby reducing component wear. This mainly applies to manual transmission models. During the break-in period, shift gears promptly and appropriately, and avoid using a single gear for extended periods. During the break-in phase of a new car, promptly conduct vehicle inspections and maintenance, including oil and oil filter changes, along with a comprehensive check of the chassis system. The engine is in a critical phase where tiny metal particles generated during operation may mix with the oil. Failing to change the oil promptly will increase wear.
