How to Lock the Steering Lock?

Insert the electric scooter key into the switch position, but do not turn it yet. Keep it in the original inserted position. Press the electric scooter key downward firmly until a small groove appears. Continue applying pressure on the grooved key, then turn it one notch to the left. Pull the key out directly from its current position.
I've been driving for over twenty years and know how important anti-theft measures are. A steering wheel lock is essentially a steering lock, and it's quite simple to operate: after parking and turning off the engine, take out the lock, usually a clamp-style one, extend it to the appropriate length, and align it with the steering wheel rim. Make sure the hook fits securely into the gap between the spokes. Then, turn the key until you hear a click, indicating it's locked. Always check to ensure it's firmly in place to avoid any looseness. I always carry the key with me and never leave it in the car. The advantage is that it prevents thieves from driving away, as the steering wheel gets jammed—it's quite reliable. I recommend choosing a sturdy brand rather than going for a cheap one that might break easily. Make it a habit to lock it every time you park; it's both convenient and safe.
Using a steering wheel lock while driving has become as natural for me as using a phone. After parking and turning off the engine, I take out the lock, adjust its size, and fit it onto the steering wheel, usually on one of the spokes. Then, I turn the key to lock it—done! The whole process takes less than half a minute. I use a lightweight one that's easy to carry in my bag. Why use it? Because it's quite effective against car theft—if the steering wheel can't move, thieves will give up. Don’t forget to take the key with you, or you won’t be able to unlock it yourself. Also, regularly wipe the joints of the lock to prevent rust and stiffness. Anyway, as a young person, I like simple and practical gear like this.
