Audi Q5 rear seat lifting method: There is a safety pin on the backrest. Press the safety pin to remove the backrest, then push the rear seat backward (toward the trunk direction). Be careful not to pull it upward forcefully, as this may easily break the plastic clips under the seat. The Audi Q5 is a model under the Audi brand, with body dimensions of 4629mm in length, 1898mm in width, and 1655mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2807mm. In terms of appearance, the Audi Q5 features a distinctive large grille front face, with an overall stylish and attractive design, complemented by smooth and flowing body lines. The Audi Q5 offers a spacious and practical driving and riding space, with ample legroom and headroom. The seats are flexibly arranged, well-wrapped, and provide good comfort. The interior storage space is abundant, and the trunk has a large capacity, making it convenient for storing large items.

At first I didn’t know how to lift the rear seats either, but after trying a few times, I finally figured it out. You need to crouch outside the car door and reach under the front edge of the seat to find a black fabric strap. Grab the strap and pull it upward firmly while using your other hand to lift the seat. Remember to move quickly because pulling the strap only releases the front latch—you still need to lift the seat to detach it from the two rear hooks. When I tried it, I found the seat quite heavy, so it’s best to lift it all the way in one motion without letting go. Each seat is independently designed, so both left and right sides can be lifted separately, and the middle section follows the same method. Once lifted, you’ll see the hidden storage space underneath, which is perfect for tools or miscellaneous items. To reset, just align the hooks and press the seat back down.

Lifting the rear seats of an Audi Q5 is actually quite simple, and I do it often. First, go to the rear door, bend down, and find the fabric pull strap in the gap beneath the front of the seat. Pull the strap firmly while immediately lifting the entire seat cushion upward—this will release the front clips, and the metal hooks at the rear will also detach as you lift. Once raised to the vertical position, the seat will lock in place, making it easy to clean underneath or adjust a child safety seat. The process is the same for both side seats, and the center backrest has its own independent button—just remember to operate them separately. This design is especially practical for loading large items in the trunk, and the hooks behind the seats are very sturdy.

When Should Automatic Transmission Fluid Be Changed?

Under normal circumstances, automatic transmission fluid should be changed every two years or every 40,000 kilometers. Below is more relevant information about automatic transmission fluid: 1. Hazards of prolonged use: Over time, the viscosity of transmission fluid becomes thinner, leading to decreased lubrication performance, reduced sealing capability, increased resistance, and accelerated wear. This results in unstable pressure, affecting the working precision of the hydraulic system, reducing transmission control accuracy, and degrading shift precision, which in turn impacts smoothness and response speed. 2. Potential risks: If the transmission fluid is not changed for a long time, the vehicle may experience weak acceleration when starting cold, and slight slipping may occur during driving.
