Ensure that the rear seat belts are not twisted or caught between the seat cushion and the seat back. 3. When the seat back is locked in place, the red tab next to the seat back lever will retract. 4. If you want to remove the rear seats, the method is as follows: There are clips on both sides at the front of the rear seat cushion. Lift up forcefully while rocking back and forth. Once both clips are released, pull the seat cushion backward firmly. There are three metal hooks at the back. If you are not confident in your DIY skills, it is recommended to have them removed at a 4S shop or a car wash.
