How to Issue a Car Repair Invoice?

Repair fees should be issued as a regular invoice. According to current tax regulations, a value-added tax (VAT) special invoice or a unified invoice for the repair and maintenance industry can be issued.
Getting a car repair invoice is actually quite simple. After the repair is done, just tell the shop 'issue an invoice.' They will ask for some basic information, such as your name, license plate number, or Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), so the invoice can clearly list the repair items, costs, date, and the shop's name and tax ID. I drive a lot and frequently need repairs, so I always remember to ask for an invoice. Otherwise, it can be troublesome later if the car has recurring issues and I need to claim warranty or file a complaint. For example, once I replaced a headlight bulb but forgot to get an invoice, and without proof of the repair, I had a lot of back-and-forth when making a claim. I recommend checking the invoice for any errors after receiving it and keeping a physical or digital copy. Taking a photo with your phone and storing it in the cloud is the safest option to avoid losing it.
