How to install the timing for Haima Family 479q?

Use the positioning plate to clamp the positioning square on the camshaft to determine the precise position of the camshaft at the top dead center of the first cylinder. Insert the positioning pin into the positioning pin holes on the cylinder block and flywheel to fix the crankshaft in place. The connection between the camshaft timing pulley and the camshaft is secured with bolts, while the connection between the crankshaft timing pulley and the crankshaft uses positioning pins and bolts. Tighten the connecting bolts between the camshaft timing pulley and the camshaft, then remove the positioning plate and positioning pin to complete the installation of the timing wheel system.
I've personally replaced the timing belt on my Haima Family 479Q engine - it's quite a test of patience. First, remove the alternator belt, then take off the crankshaft pulley and secure the crankshaft position with special tools. The most critical part is aligning the camshaft gear with the markings on the cylinder head - being off by even one tooth is unacceptable. When installing the new belt, pay special attention to the tension; too tight and it'll damage the bearings, too loose and it may skip teeth. After installation, manually rotate the crankshaft two full turns to confirm all markings align properly. Honestly, this job carries significant risks - improper operation can cause anything from engine vibration to valve damage in severe cases. I'd recommend leaving it to professional repair shops for safety.
