How to Install the Jiangxi Isuzu Generator Belt?

Loosen the generator fixing screws and the belt tension adjustment screws. Push the generator towards the engine to minimize the distance between the pulleys, then place the belt correctly. Adjust the belt tension to the appropriate level, and tighten the engine fixing screws and adjustment screws.
Replacing the alternator belt isn't actually difficult. I often handle such tasks working at an auto repair shop. For Jiangxi Isuzu models, you usually need to loosen the tensioner pulley bolt first - just turn it counterclockwise with a wrench to release tension. Before removing the old belt, it's best to take a photo with your phone to clearly record its routing around the alternator pulley, crankshaft pulley and water pump pulley. Make sure to buy the new belt according to OEM specifications. When installing it, ensure all grooves properly seat into the pulleys without twisting. While tightening the tensioner, adjust gradually and check - the belt should have about 10-12mm deflection when pressed. Before starting, manually rotate the crankshaft a couple turns and listen for any friction noises. The biggest pitfall is incorrect belt tension - too tight will burn bearings, too loose causes slippage. I recommend keeping a tension gauge handy. If you can't manage it yourself, spending around 100 yuan at a repair shop is the most worry-free solution.
