Methods for installing rear seat cushions: 1. Remove the rear seat headrests, place the seat back covers over the backrests, secure the top of the covers with hooks, and fix the bottom by inserting cushion clips into the gap between the backrest and the seat cushion; 2. Place the seat cushion covers over the rear seat cushions and secure them again by inserting cushion clips into the gap between the backrest and the seat cushion; 3. Reinstall the rear seat headrests and place the headrest covers over them, securing them with clips. Car seat cushions are available in four sets: three-piece, five-piece, eight-piece, and nine-piece. The three-piece set includes cushions for the two front seats and the long rear bench seat.
Installing rear seat cushions is quite easy, I've done it myself several times. First, make sure the seats are clean by wiping off dust or sweat stains with a damp cloth to prevent the cushion from slipping. Then, take out the cushion and lay it over the rear seat, adjusting its position according to the shape to ensure full coverage. Next, locate the straps or hooks on the back of the cushion and pull them under the seat to secure them; if there are hooks, insert them into the gaps of the seat frame, or cross and tighten the straps if they're present. Smooth out any wrinkles for safety and comfort while driving. I use a universal cushion, and the installation takes only about 10 minutes without needing professional tools. Regularly changing the cushion also helps protect the original car seats and extend their lifespan. It's advisable to read the instructions before installation, but most of the time, it's straightforward.
