How to Install License Plate Recognition?

Installation method for license plate recognition barrier system: 1. First, determine the installation position of the license plate recognition all-in-one machine: This will directly affect the recognition effect. The position should be decided based on the on-site environment and conditions of each entrance and exit. Generally, one camera is installed per lane. If the vehicle's direction when entering the lane is not fixed, a large angle may affect recognition, so consider installing a secondary camera to ensure recognition regardless of the vehicle's orientation. 2. Next, if using snapshot recognition, determine the installation positions of the camera and loop: The optimal distance between the camera and the loop on the incoming vehicle side is 4-4.5m. The loop position should ensure that when the vehicle triggers the vehicle detector, the front of the vehicle is tilted toward the camera side as much as possible, allowing the camera to capture clear and complete images. For a single lane (where the entrance and exit are the same lane), a dual-channel vehicle detector is required. 3. Then, determine the positions of the barrier and anti-collision loop: The barrier is usually installed on the same side as the camera, behind the camera (30cm from the camera pole to ensure the barrier gate can open conveniently). The anti-collision loop is centered directly under the barrier arm, ensuring that no part of the vehicle is under the barrier arm when the front triggers the loop or the rear leaves the loop.
