The installation method of ETC is: 1. Check whether the ETC card and electronic tag are damaged. Press the anti-removal button on the back of the electronic tag, the red light will briefly light up, and the OLED screen will display the words 'Tag invalid, please insert card', indicating that the device is normal; 2. Clean the front windshield to keep the glass surface smooth and clean, then tear off the protective film of the back adhesive of the electronic tag, paste it to the installation position and press it with your hand for 2 to 3 minutes to remove bubbles; 3. Insert the ETC card with the front facing the driver and the back facing the front glass, and the chip part should be inserted into the electronic tag device. The ETC transaction sensing area is 8 meters. When encountering a vehicle in front stopping, in order to prevent the ETC device of the vehicle in front from malfunctioning or not having an ETC device at all, a distance of more than 10 meters should be maintained from the vehicle in front to prevent the automatic sensing from paying the fee for the vehicle in front.

Installing an ETC device is actually quite simple. First, prepare tools such as cleaner and a damp cloth to thoroughly clean the inside of the car windshield, ensuring there is no dust or grease. Find a suitable location, usually near the rearview mirror but without obstructing the view. Then, take out the ETC device, place it with the adhesive side facing outward, press firmly for a few minutes to ensure it sticks securely. Most modern devices come with suction cups or adhesive and don’t require wiring—just test by turning it on to see if the indicator light works. I encountered a minor issue during installation: moisture on the windshield caused the device to loosen, but redoing it on a dry day solved the problem. I recommend choosing a sunny day for hassle-free operation. DIY installation not only saves time but also helps you learn a bit about cars—just follow the instructions step by step to avoid future malfunctions affecting convenience. Overall, it’s not complicated and becomes easier with practice.

Why is the fuel consumption high when starting a car?

There are several reasons for high fuel consumption when starting a car: Frictional Resistance: When the vehicle is moving, the wheels need to overcome rolling resistance. During the rotation process, in addition to relying on the torque output from the engine, the wheels can also utilize the centrifugal force generated during operation to achieve some power assistance. However, before starting and accelerating, the vehicle is in a stationary state. The engine must rely entirely on the output torque to overcome static frictional resistance. To achieve high torque, the only way is to press the accelerator deeply, which naturally results in high fuel consumption. Inertial Force: When the vehicle is moving, it can utilize the inertia force during coasting to drive without power output in states such as gear shifting, acceleration, or coasting. Obviously, driving without pressing the accelerator saves fuel. Additionally, the required output power during normal driving is relatively low, and the required torque is minimal. However, during starting and acceleration, high RPM and large torque are needed to achieve high power, which is very fuel-intensive. Moreover, the increase in power and speed is a 1:1 ratio without any assistance from inertial forces, leading to high fuel consumption.

Can the Condenser of a Small Car Be Removed and Discarded?

The condenser of a small car cannot be removed. Installation sequence of the condenser: To ensure the condenser dissipates heat effectively, it must be cleaned before installation to guarantee sufficient airflow through the condenser coils. The condenser should be installed correctly, with a gap of at least 15mm between its top and the engine hood. When connecting the wiring, ensure the distance between the connecting wires and the engine body is greater than 50mm, and the distance from the fuel pipe should exceed 100mm. To prevent the temperature-sensing capillary tube on the evaporator from coming loose, it should be clamped tightly before installation, and the sensing tube must not be twisted. Removal sequence of the condenser: Discharge the refrigerant from the refrigeration system; remove the inlet and outlet pipes of the condenser; detach the radiator; use a specialized tool to unscrew the fixing bolts and remove the condenser.
