The installation method for oil seals: 1. Place the sponge protective sleeves on both ends of the split section and apply grease to the inner circumference; 2. Open the split oil seal at the split section and sleeve it onto the rotating shaft, then remove the sponge protective sleeves and apply DSF special adhesive to the cross-section below the split section of the oil seal; 3. Press the split surfaces together moderately and hold for 10 to 20 seconds; 4. Connect and tighten the spring, then move it into the spring groove of the split oil seal; 5. Rotate the split section to the top of the shaft and tap the oil seal into the installation hole. Oil seals, also known as shaft seals, are components in machinery used to prevent fluids (mostly lubricating oil) from leaking out of joints (mostly the mating surfaces of parts or rotating shafts).
