How to Install a Rearview Mirror?

Just peel off the isolation paper on both sides and stick it on, but be sure to scrape off any residual adhesive on the rearview mirror before installation, otherwise it won't stick firmly. This adhesive is divided into two parts, A and B, which need to be mixed before use. However, some AB adhesives take a long time to cure, so you may need to wait patiently for them to fully cure. This invisible adhesive, also known as UV adhesive, can perfectly bond plastic and metal. The car windshield is definitely made of glass. This type of rearview mirror does not require adhesive on the back; it only needs a suction cup to adhere to the glass, making it very practical and convenient.
I've installed rearview mirrors several times myself, here's some experience to share. First prepare tools: Phillips screwdriver, alcohol wipes and wrench. When buying mirrors online, confirm the model matches your car. When removing the old mirror, remember to turn the base screws counterclockwise, don't pull hard. Cleaning the windshield base is crucial - use alcohol to remove grease and wait until it's completely dry before installation. For the new mirror, first align the base clips to position, don't overtighten screws to avoid cracking the glass. The key is adjusting the angle from driver's seat: horizon at mirror center with car body occupying one-quarter view for safest visibility. Give it several firm tugs to test stability - a shaking mirror at high speed is terrifying. Never use double-sided tape instead of screws, as summer heat can cause detachment.
