How to Install a Motorcycle Canopy?

Before installation, be sure to check whether local regulations permit the installation. First, remove the rearview mirrors, then slip the two front rings of the canopy over the mounting points, and reinstall the rearview mirrors. Next, secure the rear part of the canopy. Typically, there are two metal rods at the back of the canopy—tie the ropes to the support frame beneath the tail box.
I often install a rain cover when riding my motorcycle out. First, choose a suitable size—not too small to obstruct vision or too large to flap around. Then, prepare the rain cover's buckles or hooks, usually fixed to the handlebars and rearview mirrors, and gently pull the straps to tighten them. During installation, ensure the rain cover provides full coverage, especially over the seat, to avoid leaks. After installation, tug on it to test the tightness—if it's too loose, it may sway in the wind and damage the cover. Finally, check if the edges are even to prevent water pooling. To extend its lifespan, I spray waterproofing agent after each car wash.
