Then, tuck the power cord into the gap of the car's headliner. 3. After tucking the cord into the headliner, pull down the door seal strip. While reinstalling the seal strip, tuck the power cord inside it until the cord emerges at the bottom of the dashboard. 4. To avoid excessive exposed wiring near the cigarette lighter, loosen the screws of the lower dashboard panel, tuck the cord into the gap, and then tighten the screws. Finally, plug in the cigarette lighter power and check if the dash cam is functioning properly.
