Manual transmission inspection and repair methods are as follows: 1. Inspection of transmission gears and shafts: Check all meshing gears to ensure correct engagement positions, with no signs of surface pitting or peeling on the teeth; measure the radial clearance between gears and shafts, and replace gears, needle bearings, or shafts if exceeding specified limits; measure the axial clearance of gears, typically 0.10~0.30mm, with a maximum not exceeding 0.60mm. 2. Inspection of the second shaft axial clearance in the transmission: Tighten the second shaft connecting flange nut to the specified torque, then pry the second shaft back and forth. The axial clearance should not exceed 0.30mm. If the clearance is too large, disassemble and inspect the transmission. 3. Inspection of the synchronizer: After removing the synchronizer, clean it thoroughly with cleaning fluid. Check the wear condition of the synchronizer cone ring and cone disc, and verify the braking function of the synchronizer cone ring. Apply a small amount of gear oil to the inner cone surface of the cone ring, then press it against the outer cone surface, rotate relatively, and release. The inner cone surface should not automatically slide off the cone surface.
