Open the registration interface and enter the license plate number in the license plate information field. Some license plate recognition systems require entering the Chinese characters preceding the license plate number. The license plate recognition system cannot identify temporary license plates.

I have experience with several common methods of vehicle information entry. Typically, you need to prepare the vehicle documents and the responsible person's identification. First, select 'Add New Vehicle' in the system's information registration interface, then manually input basic details such as the license plate number, chassis number, and engine number. After that, upload photos of the front and back of the vehicle's registration certificate, and the system will automatically recognize the license plate color and vehicle model. For company-owned vehicles, you also need to attach the company's proof. Some parking lot systems are more intelligent, allowing you to simply scan the license plate with a camera to automatically fill in the information, but insurance details still need to be added manually. After submitting the key information, click 'Save,' and the system will prompt you to generate an electronic file number. Finally, print a paper registration form for the vehicle owner to sign and archive. The entire process takes about ten minutes to complete.

Last time when I helped my uncle register his car, I found that the system entry process is actually quite convenient now. Just open the registration page and take a photo of the vehicle license, and the system automatically recognizes the license plate and owner information. Manually fill in the vehicle color and contact number, upload a photo of the compulsory insurance policy, and finally click submit for review. The system will also prompt which fields are missing, such as the engine number which must be manually verified. Once approved, you can receive the electronic parking permit on your phone, and the property management will bind the paper materials together. However, for used car transfers, you need to additionally upload the transaction certificate, so it's better to prepare a copy in advance.

Having managed residential vehicle management for three years, our system's entry process consists of three steps: First, scan the license plate to automatically retrieve basic information, then manually verify whether the usage nature stated on the vehicle registration certificate matches the declaration. The most crucial step is uploading four electronic materials—the vehicle registration certificate, the owner's ID card, the compulsory traffic insurance policy, and a screenshot of the contact information. The system comes with OCR recognition to automatically extract text, but the last six digits of the engine number must be manually entered twice to prevent input errors. After submission, a pending review status is generated, and we conduct cross-verification of the materials' authenticity. Only approved vehicles are granted access by the barrier system.
