How to identify reference points for left and right reverse parking?

When the vehicle is exiting the parking space, turn the steering wheel fully to the left as the right rear wheel is about to touch the edge line of the parking space. During reverse parking, quickly straighten the steering wheel when the vehicle body becomes parallel with the side lines on both sides. Stop the vehicle when the lower edge of the rearview mirror aligns with the rear marking line.
When reversing into the parking space, I think understanding the basic principles is essential first. For reversing into the right space, I observe the relationship between the car body and the parking line through the right rearview mirror, usually finding a reference point at the bottom of the car body, such as the corner of the mirror or the wheel arch line, and start turning the wheel when they approach the parking line. The same applies to reversing into the left space, using the left rearview mirror. The key is to practice more to find personal reference points—beginners are advised to practice dozens of times in an open area to familiarize themselves with their car's dimensions and blind spots. Keep the speed slow for easier control. If the reference point is missed, don’t panic, just adjust the direction and try again. Safety first—always check the blind spots before reversing to ensure no people or objects are in the way. Reference points may vary slightly depending on the car model, such as differences between SUVs and sedans, but with more practice, you can master them.
