How to Identify Axles?
1 Answers
The axle is the bearing that connects two wheels, also known as the wheel axle. Each pair (front and rear) of tires is essentially connected by an axle, and the number of axles refers to the count of these connecting bars. A single-axle vehicle has only one axle, meaning it has just one pair of tires (two tires). In daily life, most common passenger cars have four tires, with each pair connected by one axle, so the number of axles in a passenger car is two. The number of axles is primarily applied to cargo trucks, military vehicles, special-purpose vehicles, or a few large buses.
