How to Handle the Loss of an ETC Card?

The procedure for handling a lost ETC card: 1. Bring the original and a copy of your ID card to a bank branch counter to apply for a card change, replacement, or reissuance; 2. Bring the original and a copy of your ID card to a bank branch, fill out an ETC service application form, and apply for the suspension of ETC functions, which will take effect within 24 hours from the time of acceptance; 3. After receiving the new card, go to the designated bank branch to activate the ETC function; 4. After receiving the new card, call the bank's credit card customer service to activate the card, and the ETC function will be automatically available within 5 working days. When replacing the card, be careful not to enable 'small amount contactless payment' to effectively avoid ETC fraud. After processing the ETC, the staff will attach the ETC device to the front windshield on-site. If it is removed or becomes loose and falls off, the anti-tamper guide rod will pop out, triggering the ETC electronic tag to lock and become unusable. In this case, you need to go to an ETC service point to unlock and reactivate it.
