Drivers must prepare the original ID card, the original and photocopy of the vehicle license, the original insurance card, and the vehicle and vessel tax certificate, among other documents. Take the annual inspection form to the entrance of the vehicle inspection line for the staff to sign, then drive the vehicle into the inspection line. Take the inspection results form back to the office to make copies of the relevant documents.
Renewing the driving license after expiration is quite simple. Last time I personally went to the vehicle management office, bringing the original ID card, vehicle registration certificate, valid compulsory traffic insurance policy, and the vehicle inspection pass mark. The staff first checked the appearance and identification code, and if there were no problems, I filled out the form, signed it, and got the new license. Remember to check in advance whether the annual inspection has passed, otherwise it would be a waste of effort. The vehicle management office often has long queues, so it is recommended to avoid peak hours on Mondays or holidays and choose a morning to go. The whole process took a little more than an hour. Now some cities support online appointment and uploading materials before going to collect it, which is more convenient, but I am used to doing it myself to avoid mistakes.
