How to Get Subsidies for New Energy Vehicles?
1 Answers
The Ministry of Finance has established a five-tier subsidy standard for hybrid vehicles based on fuel-saving rates, with a maximum subsidy of 50,000 yuan per vehicle; pure electric vehicles can receive a subsidy of 60,000 yuan per vehicle; and fuel cell vehicles are subsidized at 250,000 yuan per vehicle. For city buses over ten meters in length, there are separate standards: hybrid vehicles are divided into two categories—those using lead-acid batteries and those using nickel-metal hydride or lithium-ion batteries—with maximum subsidies of 80,000 yuan and 420,000 yuan per vehicle, respectively; pure electric buses have a subsidy standard of 50,000 yuan. Below is additional information: 1. Financial Support: During the pilot period (2010-2012), when the sales of pure hybrid and plug-in electric vehicles by each enterprise reach 50,000 units, the central government will proportionally reduce the support rate. Article 11 states that the central government will subsidize pilot cities based on the number of private purchases and established standards. For battery leasing companies, subsidies will be determined by the number of new energy vehicles they service. 2. Subsidy Standards: The "Notice on Further Promoting the Application of New Energy Vehicles" (Cai Jian [2013] No. 551) issued by the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the National Development and Reform Commission (hereinafter referred to as the "Notice") stipulates that the subsidy standards for pure electric passenger vehicles, plug-in hybrid passenger vehicles (including optional configurations), pure electric special-purpose vehicles, and fuel cell vehicles in 2014 and 2015 are as follows: Starting from January 1, 2014, the subsidy standards for the above-mentioned vehicle types will be reduced by 5% compared to the 2013 standards, and by 10% in 2015.
